John K. Freeman has over 35 years experience in the Real Estate Industry. As President of Chesapeake Management Group Inc., Mr. Freeman focuses on real estate development, real estate finance and asset management. He is active in negotiating financial restructuring and work-outs related to multifamily housing projects, including condominium conversions and capital improvement programs. In addition, he also has extensive experience in the development of Certified Historic Properties.
Mr. Freeman holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board for the Barker Foundation, a private nondenominational adoption agency and is a member of the Chevy Chase Club, Harvard Club of Boston and the Monticello Cabinet of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation. He currently lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and has two children and 5 grandchildren.
